There are a few reasons why Outlook might keep asking for your password. Here are a few things to check:

Make sure that you are using the correct password. Double-check the password that you are entering and make sure that it is the same password that you use to log in to your email account.

Make sure that Outlook is not in cached mode. Cached mode stores a copy of your email messages and settings on your computer. If Outlook is in cached mode, it may not be able to communicate with your email server and will ask for your password every time you open it. To disable cached mode, go to File > Account Settings > Account Settings. In the Account Settings dialog box, select the account that is asking for your password and click on the Change button. In the Change Account dialog box, uncheck the Use cached Exchange mode checkbox and click on the OK button.

Make sure that your email server is available. If your email server is down or experiencing problems, Outlook may not be able to communicate with it and will ask for your password every time you open it. To check the status of your email server, contact your email provider.

Make sure that Outlook is up to date. Outdated versions of Outlook may have bugs that can cause it to ask for your password repeatedly. To update Outlook, go to File > Account Settings > Check for Updates.

Peter
