Spirit Airlines Boarding Zones uses a zone-based boarding system to keep things efficient and organized. The process starts with Pre-Boarding, for passengers who need special assistance, such as those with disabilities. Zone 1 is for passengers who have purchased a carry-on bag or premium seating. Zone 2 is reserved for Free Spirit Silver and Gold members, co-branded credit card holders, and passengers who have purchased Shortcut Boarding to board earlier. Family Boarding happens between Zones 2 and 3, allowing families with young children to board first. After that, general boarding begins in Zone 3 and Zone 4, starting from the back of the plane and moving forward. This system helps to ensure a smooth and efficient boarding process for all passengers.
