Southwest Airlines Baggage Policypermits each passenger to check two bags free of charge, as long as they fulfill size and weight restrictions. When combining length, breadth, and height, each checked bag should not weigh more than 50 pounds (22.68 kilograms) or measure more than 62 inches (157 centimeters). Additional baggage or oversized/overweight products may result in fines. Carry-on goods must fit in the overhead bin or beneath the seat in front of you.
