Precision Cast Parts

What is casting?
The precision casting process refers to the melting of metals and non-metals, and then pouring them into pressure molds to form parts of specific shapes.

Parts of casting have good precision and wear resistance, which can meet the high requirements of the automotive, aviation, military, mechanical and electronic industries, and are an ideal process for manufacturing high-quality products.

Preparation of Raw Materials
The first step in the investment casting process is to prepare the raw materials. First, the raw materials are ground to ensure that the fineness and tensile strength of the raw materials meet the requirements, and then the ground raw materials are mixed in proportion to ensure the purity of smelting.

Mold Making
The second step is to make the mold. Molds are made of chilled cast iron or stainless steel for heat and corrosion resistance. When making the mold, the geometry of the casting is machined into the surface of the mold to ensure the accuracy and shape of the casting.

Pouring
The third step is pouring. The melted alloy is poured into the mold under constant pressure and temperature. During pouring, the geometry and dimensions of the casting are affected by melting temperature, fluidity and pouring speed.

Shaping and Cleaning
The fourth step is shaping and cleaning. Precision cast parts are heated in the mold so that they are fixed in the mold and formed into the desired geometry and size. Then, cool the casting with clean water, and wash the mold with a cleaning agent to remove sediment and dirt on the surface of the casting.
