You can fix the Epson error code 0X97 by resetting your printer. Disconnect the cables of the device. After 5 minutes, hold and press the power button for a minute. Reconnect all the cables while holding and pressing the Power button. Now hold and press the Power button for another minute before releasing it. Perform a test print to see if the problem resolves. You can also perform a printhead cleaning if the error does not resolve.

Epson error code 0x97 is a common issue that can occur on Epson printers, and it usually indicates a hardware problem within the printer itself. To fix this error, you can try the following steps:

Turn Off and On:
Turn off the printer and unplug it from the power source.
Wait for a few minutes and then plug it back in and turn it on.

Remove Obstructions:
Open the printer's cover and check for any paper jams, foreign objects, or obstructions inside the printer.
Carefully remove any debris that you find.

Disconnect Peripherals:
If you have any external devices (USB drives, memory cards, etc.) connected to the printer, disconnect them and then restart the printer.

Clean Printhead:
If the error persists, you can try cleaning the printhead using the printer's built-in maintenance utility.
Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to perform printhead cleaning.

Update Firmware:
Check the manufacturer's website for any available firmware updates for your printer model.
If updates are available, follow the instructions to update the firmware.

Greetings,
Peter
